UKSF Military Simulation in Arma Reforger

24 Troop, 22 SAS is a UKSF-focused Arma Reforger Milsim Unit delivering a highly structured, realism-driven experience. Originally established in 2017, we provide a stable core of experienced players operating within a professional, disciplined environment.

Our training cadre brings decades of real-world military experience, ensuring authentic tactics, procedures, and mission execution. We replicate a Special Air Service Air Troop with a full chain of command, specialist roles, and immersive, scenario-based deployments.

Entry is selective. Members are vetted, trained, and integrated into a cohesive troop, conducting global operations where teamwork, communication, and realism are essential.

UKSF Selection Information

Our UKSF Selection is designed to replicate the structure of the real-world UKSF assessment. Conducted on custom-built terrains, our maps deliver metre-accurate representations of the environments used during the actual UKSF selection.

The full selection process is completed within a single day. Candidates begin in the afternoon and, by evening, will either be accepted into the unit, backtrooped for further development, or dismissed.

Selection is divided into three progressive phases:

SAS Briefing Course
Conducted on our Hereford & Pontrilas Army Training Area (PATA) terrain

Hills Phase
Taking place across the Brecon Beacons, testing endurance, navigation, and resilience

Jungle Phase
Set within the British Army Training & Support Unit Belize (BATSUB), focusing on fieldcraft and adaptability

This streamlined but demanding process ensures only capable, committed players progress into 24 Troop.

Unit Training Culture

Our training philosophy is built around the 70/30 rule — 70% operations, 30% dedicated training. This balance ensures our troopers remain operationally active while continuously refining their skills and maintaining peak effectiveness.

Training is led by a cadre with decades of real-world military experience, supported by a solid foundation of Arma technical expertise. This allows us to deliver instruction that is both tactically authentic and fully optimised for the simulation environment.

The result is a unit that stays sharp, adaptable, and mission-ready at all times. Our Members are encouraged to attend specialised Cadres to upskill their adaptability and experience.

Operations & Deployments

Our deployments and operations reflect the scope and intensity of real-world UKSF tasking. Supported by an in-house team of experienced modders and mission makers, we operate at the cutting edge of the Arma Reforger’s Enfusion engine, delivering highly immersive and technically refined scenarios.

All missions are grounded in realism. From detailed OPORDs to accurate SITREPs, we emphasise structured planning, disciplined execution, and individual accountability at every stage of an operation.

Our operational scope includes:
– Counter Insurgency (COIN)
– Domestic & International Counter Terrorism (CT)
– Covert / Special Operations
– Direct Action (DA)
– Special Reconnaissance (SR)
